The Moto Guzzi Club GB raises money for charities every year.
Some of the events are organised locally by the branches. Examples of this are the annual Easter Egg run and usually a Christmas event. Details of such runs for 2010 can be found on the events pages and on the club forum, where they are published as and when they are announced.
Another donation to a local charity is made every year alongside our prize presentations at the V-Twin Rally.
The Guzzi Ride Out has now finished and I am processing the entries ready to announce the awards later in Gambalunga. I would like to say a big thank you to everyone who took part. The event raised approximately £3000 and in the next issue this will be verified by the Spinal Research charity organisation.
I have been bowled over by the letters and emails which I have received from members and non-members saying how much they have enjoyed their “Grand Days Out” and visiting parts Great Britain that they would not normally have seen. The photos accompanying the entries and the thank you notes have made me smile and I feel that it was well worth all the effort.
Safe riding and best wishes, you are all rather special.

2006 was the year the Moto Guzzi Club GB celebrated it's 30th anniversary, which is why Sue our PRO decided to organise something a little special for charity.
The result was Guzzi Birds do GB, a group of six women riding their motorcycles around the UK and Ireland raising money for the Orchid Cancer Appeal, a prostate and testicular cancer charity.
