Just a brief mid-tour hello from the Guzzi Birds.

Firstly
we'd like to thank everyone we've met so far for their support and donations.
We're doing really well with the task of raising money for the boys.
Right now we're sailing across to Ireland, so there is a brief moment to update you all with what's been going on. So far we've had mostly great weather, with only a bit of drizzle and some overcast skies thrown in for good measure.
The journey so far
We've set off from Andrew's (Hayward's Motorcycles) in Cambridge on
Thursday with a throng of followers which over the rest of the day dwindled
to one, who stayed with us for another two nights.
We've been made very welcome everywhere we go, especially by the members
of the BAD (Blairgowrie and District) motorcycle club, one of whom,
called Charlie had his 25 years of flowing locks cropped to a number
two in a fundraising hoolie.
The BAD MCC raised over £350 for the Orchid Trust.
After another encounter with the local press, we've set off again with another throng of supporters and went on lovely roads enjoying the stunning scenery and ending the day with the best fish pie in Scotland, courtesy of our Gambalunga editor.
The only dampener of the trip so far being a water leakage inside Linda's top-box dowsing the passport within and a broken pannier bracket on the same bike, which got fixed in Ayr thanks to Mel (Moto Ecosse). And one rear light bulb blew on Sue's steed.
We have now released our secret money gathering weapon on the local populace, Serena. Who is proving adept at getting donations from all (and for some reason especially policemen).
This is the gist of our trip so far. And I better not tell you all that we're having a really good time on our Guzzi adventure, because we still want you to put your hands deep in your pockets and make a donation to the good cause.
Enjoy yourselves and stay safe.
Linda
