Guzzi ride Out Overview
For
2008 and 2009 Sue Nock, our PRO made plans in which everyone could
get involved very easily and the proceeds would go to Spinal
Research.
The idea is that you visited as many ride Out landmarks as you could, either as an individual or a group and have fun riding your motorcycles while raising money for a worthy cause.
The Guzzi Ride Out was open to any motorcyclists whether they are members of the MGGB or not. This is a very important charity especially for some unfortunate motorcyclists so we are trying to raise as much money as possible.
The Guzzi Ride Out comprised of fundraising packs containing goodies and information, an optional competition and an invitation to raise further funds in any way you think suitable.
The competition and further fundraising though not mandatory, were an added incentive to assist a charity that helps develop new treatment to repair the spinal cords of people who have been paralysed.
The competition consisted of a list of landmarks all over the UK, with an allocation of points for each one. The challenge was to gain as many points as you could by visiting them and taking a photo as proof.
