Guzzi ride Out
For
2008 Sue Nock, our PRO has made plans in which everyone can get involved
very easily and the proceeds will go to Spinal
Research.
Guzzi ride Out comprises of a fundraising packs containing goodies and information, a competition and an invitation to raise further funds in any way you think suitable. The competition and further fundraising is not mandatory, but we think that it is an added incentive to assist a charity that helps develop new treatment to repair the spinal cords of people who have been paralysed.
The competition consists of a list of landmarks all over the UK, with an
allocation of points for each and the challenge is to gain as many points
as you can by visiting them and taking a photo as proof. The exact rules
and list of landmarks are included in the fundraising pack, which you can
obtain for £10.- ,which will go directly to the Spinal Research charity.
To make things even easier and more interesting for anyone wishing to take
part you can enter the competition either as an individual or as a member
of a branch or both.
Fund raising packs include a charity T-Shirt, a sticker for your bike, details of Guzzi ride Out landmarks, a sponsorship form and details about the Guzzi ride Out competition with an entry form. The idea is that visiting as many ride Out landmarks as you can and taking a photo, each one adding a certain amount of points to your score.
