    Posted: 04 Jul 2012 at 10:11
I've recently found out that my previous 2009 Stelvio has been bought by the production company that makes the program, to be used in the next series. I have emailed the the company asking for a signed photo of Si and Dave with my old bike, but unfortunately they can't help Cry I hope my bike proves to be reliable for them, as I'd be embarrassed if it let them down.
Has anyone any suggestions on how I may be able to blag a photo?

I've tried that, it links through to their production company. I've sent a messege via their facebook page. I wonder if they actually see any of these messeges?

Strange them buying another Stelvio, as they had a pair of Guzzi's before and sold them.

Must be that ol Guzzi magic working again, once tried never forgotten

Dont know about stunt double. I bought the stelvio NTX which had been used for an entire series of the hairy bikers, filmed all over the united kingdom and they had managed to do all that and only cover 900 miles. I went round scotland two week ago with padgeman and did 1800 miles. I think they must have better maps than me, or possible a transit van to transport bikes to and from location
P.s rockingham sport and classics supplied the bikes to the BBC who I think rented them as the first owner on the reg document was rockingham and I am the second

Yeh it kinda shows you they film and make out the mileage on the bikes as if you saw that series they "rode" from  Morcombe over to Newcastle then down through the midlands /south east and south west oh yeh and I think Scotland , yeah right, another myth of Television
