My R/H silencer has fallen to pieces, does anyone have a really good original for sale? Horns have rusted away as well so I'm after a pair of Fiams for it. Thanks.

Fiamms readily available on e-bay or look for Vehicle Wiring Products there are other spares places too Chances of a good org zorst in good nick for anything like reasonable money is not likely However there are stainless makers available that will do replica org pipes and silencers

KEIHAN
osmc
and possibly Armours

No problem mate to be fair T3 parts other than from places like Corsa/Motomecca/Teo Lammers and Stein Dense or even Agostinis are getting very expensive, if you take  a look see on
www.osmc.co.uk he does have pics of his work I can say the system on my V1000 has been there fore over 20 yrs and apart from where I have marked it with the chain etc they are good as new, Annies Virago is pictured with her system he made to her idea, and has also been on her bike for 17+ yrs with no probs, I nkow he has made silencers to copy the org ones BUT they can be made with adjustable baffles so you can "tune in" the exhaust note.

Not I young man, I have friends in France but not Germany, sorry.
I personally would invest in a stainless system, you are not going to get decent original parts much cheaper than you will have to pay for new stainless steel ones, and they should last you longer.

I actually found Keihin less expensive as an initial purchase.
Go figure that one.
Was back in '88 though.

Problem is that for some perverse reason I want to keep the bike looking original. Those old pressed silencers are so ugly they look good now...like the fins on old Cadilacs!Wacko
