Evening all Here's one for the longstanding members of the Guzzi Club
Does anyone remember a Guzzi annual get together in the mid 90's, somewhere in the Midlands, where a guest of a member played along to 'Rawhide' using a tea tray ? I think he turned up on a Ducati 900 Darmah.
It was a long time ago so it could be that no-one remembers it, having said that, i guess it would be quite hard to forget..
I am trying to remember where that particular bash (pun intended) was ..
regards
David

I wasn't there, but I'm not sure that Bob Blackman was 'all there' either.

This sounds familiar and I'm thinking of a Guzzi Club rally at Compton Mill near Buxton. Oxford Motorcycle Engineers had a van there with bikes, parts and tech help
I'll have a look through my photo album for clues. There were also a couple of events run by the IMOC in the Peak & at Church Stretton which were well attended by Guzzi club members. All the best Steve |

Lichfield International Rally. The guys name was Mark from Manchester. He got through quite a few beer trays...
He also did a passable impersonation of Hitler with the aid of a black comb.. His Duke was a stunning example in two-tone sky blue. I bet Guzzibear remembers him as well. Edited by Bikeralw - 10 Jul 2012 at 22:56 |

Hi Dave. Ask Mark if he remembers the girl who turned up alone on a V50? He fixed it when she broke down, and she owed him big time.
It was 1991, I still keep in touch with her and she now has a 20 year old son......

Annie still has the leather jeans too, Funnily enough I found that same magazine this weekend too whilst doing some cleaning up and rooting about in my box of Club magazines that go waaaay back.
Paul Page at his Le mans in the bottom picture as well, I remember him telling me "Owned it for 15 yrs ...dunno if I like it yet!" He still has that bike....so I guess he found he liked it??
