The beval box i have is for a convert which is different. Also if replacing the pinion you have to use it's mating crown wheel.It may be best to get the pinion splines repaired or buy another complete reardrive.

Ralph, I beleive that the gearing is different but the output splines are the same on the Convert box. My engine came from a Convert that a friend bought to put the bevel box on his Le Mans to up the gearing. It is worth checking as this was over 25 years ago and my memory is not improving!

There are 20 splines on convert and 10 on the others.Not sure why Guzzi bothered.
