OCTOBER 2009 NEWSLETTER
Hi all,

It’s October and the dark evenings are upon us, and we still had loads of Guzzi’s in the Hermit of Redcoats car park, aren’t we doing well J
Pete McCoy finally has his Guzzi back on the road after his V50 broke down on the M20 on the way to The Tunnel for our Branch Guzzi Victory Ride back in June.

September was a bit of a quieter month for the Branch although several of us rode down to Brighton for The Ace Café Brighton Burn Up that was just as good as ever, even the weather behaved.

The following weekend Pete McCoy, Rummy Tummy, and I got our tents out and had a spin up the A5 to the Moto Guzzi Club AGM. We successfully managed to convince Dot and Hazel to stay at home in the warmth, so it turned out yet another ‘Mans’do.

End Of Year Party, numbers are filling up fast, so get your orders in soon.

It’s Brightona this weekend.  Contrary to the fact that we keep going to Brighton, there are no truths in the rumors!  If you want to ride along just let us know.

We are looking into plans for over the winter months possibly: A Brewery Trip and tasting obviously, Pete Watson is on that one.  Sunday Lunch:  Day trip to the seaside:  An Archery day: Bowling.

Hazel and I went over to France late September just of a few days and were amazed at the general price increases.  Even the ETaps we use a lot had gone up scandalous and a beer was anything up to €5.90, that’s bad news!  Also take into consideration the weak £ it’s very doubtful for a Branch trip over next year.  SO it looks more like a ‘Blighty’ weekend, could great anyway, at least the beer would be cheaper J

Take care,
Richard & Hazel
