Moto Guzzi Club GB Forum: Ace Cafe Shakedown run Southend

   All,

The Ace Cafe Shakedown to Southend is on Easter Monday.  I've done it a number of times, including in the pouring snow.  You can either go direct Southend or up to the Ace and ride down.

For anyone that's not been it's a phenomenal day in aid of NSPCC.  For anyone that's not seen thousands of bikes on Southend Sea Front it's a must.

	Good oh! Anyone else up for it? If the weather's OK, i may even do the whole thing again (up to the Ace, then down to Sarfend)...

	Theres a few of us Herts&Beds getting down to Southend if it's anything like last year half decent weather and masses of bikes then it should be a good crack hope to meet up with you down there. California Dreaming Pops

	Couldn't make last year as I had stupidly booked a holiday. Previous year it snowed and hailed... Will be there this year unless there is typhoon etc...

	Yep weather predictions are not the best,i'll stick me head out around 8am,sniff the air,crane my neck skywards and if it's dark and overcast...i'll probably bein the pub come lunchtime!! California Dreaming Pops
