If there are any hick-ups please let me know, so I can try and fix them.

Here's one - the word is spelled 'Hiccups' or possibly 'Hiccoughs'.

The pay vai paypal worked a treat
Try paying for a simple thing online when you live the otherside of the world and it will let you spend 10,000 gbp but plays up for 30 quid

The paypal could be improved to not show paypal and to allow none paypal users to pay via like a online shop, but that is a lot of work. you will need a api from them and somthing like cubecart.

Thanks for paypal made my life nice and easy also makes sence for all the fleabayers

as far as I can tell from the screens you don't need a paypal account to pay using the paypal button, it also works with one-off card payments

Correct, you don't need a paypal account.
On the left side of that page is a button where you can just pay with your Debit/Credit Card.

The paypal Payment system can be altered to opperate like a tradional shop with shopping cart and then give an option to pay via paypal direct where you add your user/pass and click pay the guzzi club or pay via credit card if your not a paypal member where the card is stillprocessed via paypal but the customer does not  see this in the back ground ideal for example

i want to renew membership , grab a club tee shirt and a few other goodies. the customer or guzzyist will get a invoice with vat no ect and a list of what he has paid for and so will the relevant club persons.

well enought of me trying to simplfy my techno babble.
I just cant wait to Dec to get back to a nice cold UK and ride my guzzi which is in my friends garage.

On 2nd thoughts, if we keep this up Ian, we both could get a new bike.LOL

Chris,
I'm quite grateful for your input about 'paypal', but for us non-technos even setting up what we did took a lot of thinkingCry.
Additional problems are e.g  info about purchases needs to go to different committee members, needs to be booked into different 'accounts' etc.
But hopefully we will expand the online purchase possibilities.
