Why join?

Firstly the membership of Moto Guzzi Club GB is well known to be a very friendly, welcoming and fun loving lot, who are happy to talk to and help pretty much anyone with a genuine interest in motorcycles. Read some of the testimonies below.

“Got first Guzzi in 1980, then B. Berwick left note to inform me there were other Guzzi owners. Shock horror, they turned out to be really grand people who you could have a pint with, have an argument with, and still be people you would like to be associated with. Best bit of club is the people, best single make club magazine "IN THE WORLD", and you can still ride the best A to B bike that is made, after 28 years, still think it's the best.” Gerry.

“Joined the Club way back in 89 when I got the V1000 for info on spares and help as I knew nothing about Guzzis, then got into the social and Rally scene, Still here ... Great people, helpful, like an extended family, bicker like a family too.

Now you can plug into the advice of Guzzisti who have skinned knuckles and burnt midnight oil sorting out their bikes. There have been times when my V1000 was my only transport and I had to keep it rolling on a shoestring, help and assistance from Club members was really needed available and appreciated.

We have both been involved with other bike clubs local and national, been to other rallies and events. NONE have the welcome and fun of the Guzzi Club ones. We have seen people come and go and come back to the club

Didn't realise that the Club organises meets, rallies etc. Since found a great bunch of people and a few loonies to keep us entertained.

“...the Guzzi Club rallies were and still are events worth going to, where else can you go to find the best people for hands on advice and enjoy a decent pint at the same time? The club magazine Gambalunga also is a source of much info be it re events or riders views on their bikes etc.
To any new member I would say "if you want information on anything don't be scared to ask" and don't be afraid to put any input of your own into the club web site or magazine.” Rob
“I went to a rally with a friend, who had rejoined the Club and everyone was extremely friendly even though I did not even own a motorbike at that time and had not ridden one for over 15 years. I have since joined, bought my own Guzzi, fallen in love with it and become a committee member, giving up loads of my time to help make the Club what it is.
