As you may be aware, Fred is organising a camping weekend at the rugby club in Langholm on 5/7 September. If you are interested, please email Fred directly or post on here so that he can estimate numbers. See you there!

Half a dozen of us are meeting up at the cafe at Rochester on the A68 at 11.00am Friday for a run over the Carter through to Newcastleton then over the top to Langholm. Others are travelling A7 direct to campsite next to the Rugby Club. Those who have to work for a living will probably arrive late on. Warden will site us on dry pitches on the caravan site as there is a match on over the weekend.  Weather forecast looking good!

Is anyone setting off from Newcastle?  Haven't got a tent, but would like to have a ride over to Langholm.

I passed through Langholm on Tuesday on route to Selkirk. The route I use is the B6309 from Heddon on the Wall to Staghsaw then the B6318 to Gilsland and then staying on the B6318 to Langholm. You'll not get bored on this route.
