New Member.Oil query?.

Postby hendersonswine » Mon Jul 25, 2016 1:16 pm

Hi.
My name's Luke.Im new to Guzzi's but not to bikes ,I recently bought a hybrid 75/76 S3 that has 850 Le mans barrels, tricked up pistons (geodinno) I think, balanced crank and flywheel, with a close ratio straight cut gearbox. Its currently not converted to run on unleaded fuel ,but has something in the tank to allow for this. The previous owner was running the bike on semi synthetic oil.Id like to do an oil and filter change and was wondering if it would be better to go back to 50/20 mineral oil?.All views appreciated.
Luke.

Don't worry about the unleaded fuel, it disappeared so long ago that any problems would have already occurred. Castrol's Valvemaster plus is good for the octane booster.
If you can get 20/50 mineral oil it will be fine, otherwise semi synth will do.
Lil'Breva and a Bellagio.
