May 2nd (day trip)

A repeat visit to Morayvia on Saturday 2nd May - this is a rather fine aircraft museum at Kinloss, Morayshire.

We have been before but there are new exhibits added to the incredible selection of things aeronautical. This clashes with the Scottish Rally however but may suit those in the area wanting a short day out and not intending going to the Scottish which looks like being rejuvenated under “new management”.

June? (day event)

LossieFest 2026 dates are not known yet and probably won’t be firmed up until Easter. It seems to revolve around the Red Arrows calendar for obvious reasons. The base requires security clearances on visitors and hence it’s certainly not a pitch up on the day event. It’s by invite only and basically a day for the families and crews of the base with entertainment provided by us and other various groups and vendors. Watch the forum and FB group(s) - Highland and Scottish for updates. I hope it's in June as July will be Glamis!

July 10th - 12th (weekend event)

The Strathmore Vintage Vehicle Club Ltd are holding their 50th as well in 2026. The Scottish Transport Extravaganza at Glamis Castle is one of the biggest events in the Scottish calendar and as such is difficult to blag stand space. Fingers crossed in the new year I manage to grab stand space - it will be a “biggly”. The dates are July 10th -12th. Camping on site is available for those displaying on the stand. The MGCGB supported us wonderfully in this event in 2024. We didn’t take an option this year as I was expecting a clash with LossieFest but that didn’t happen! Summer is too busy - not enough weekends.

August 21 - 23rd (weekend event)

A new event. A Russell Clink Memorial get together based at Cultybraggan, near Comrie, over the weekend. Camping and a hut will be available to reminisce about RMC, dissipate some alcohol, and hold a ride out around the fab Perthshire area will be in order. There is accommodation on site and details for this and all the events above can be sought by emailing motoguzzihighland@gmail.com or visiting the club forum and / or FB pages.
