Marketplace is a free service for MGCGB members to place classified ads for bikes, parts, or accessories that are for sale or wanted.
It is also available to non-members for a fee. Please see the ‘Marketplace Prices’ page for current details.
Ads run for a maximum of 6 months on the website. They will be carried in the next available issue of the club magazine as well. The seller may also request listings in further issues at no extra cost.
Ads may be accompanied by pictures (one only in the magazine).
Items for sale must show a title, description, asking price, name and contact details.
Ads will only go live after approval by MGCGB. We reserve the right to disallow or remove ads at any time.
Acceptance of ads does not constitute an endorsement by MGCGB.
Members can modify ads but they will then be subject to re-approval.
Marketplace users can themselves mark items as sold, or remove them at any time. If marked as sold, they will remain displayed as sold until removed by a Committee officer.
Ads will be visible to anyone visiting this website.
MGCGB will not be involved in financial transactions between buyers or sellers.
MGCGB will not be involved in disputes between buyers and sellers.
MGCGB will not be held responsible for the content of advertisements being correct.
Photos uploaded will be stored securely on the system until the ad is deleted, they will then be deleted with the ad.
As with any online marketplace we would like to remind members that buyer or seller beware, ads are posted or responded to at members own risk.
