£2,400.00 Selling
40k miles – Edinburgh – £2,400 ono
Honest early Stelvio 1200 4V, well cared for but needs fork attention – priced accordingly. This was my first big bike and has been a great introduction to Guzzi ownership.
It was previously used regularly for long intercity commuting and has always been garaged. In more recent years it’s seen less use but remains a running, complete and enjoyable bike.
A lot (if not all) of the servicing has been carried out by myself — carefully and often ahead of schedule. Mechanically it’s been looked after with care.
Like many newer riders, I’ve had a couple of low-speed tumbles, resulting in some cosmetic marks — nothing structural, just honest wear.
Mechanical:
Engine pulls strongly and runs well
MOT to July 2026 (happy to renew for buyer)
Known early Stelvio axle clamp issue – one clamp is sheared
Speedometer intermittent (sensor replaced; likely wiring-related)
Cosmetic:
Age-related wear: chips, marks and some light corrosion
Overall honest condition for age and mileage
This is an honest early Stelvio that would suit:
A Guzzi enthusiast
Someone looking for a usable bike with a few jobs to sort
A winter project or affordable entry into Stelvio ownership
I’m selling due to a recent house move and needing to free up funds — otherwise I’d keep it.
