Moto Guzzi 750S

£8,500.00 Selling

Moto Guzzi 750S - 1974
Imported from Germany in in around 2016 and Uk registered by me in 2017
When i bought the previous owner had done a fairly thorough restoration with on everything apart from the engine and UJ. Bevel drive, cycle parts, new electrics/wiring throughout., new shocks and fork springs and dampers, updated clocks and switch gear, brakes serviced with new pistons, seals ad repainted.
I replaced the clipons for Swan necks -  more comfortable for me at my age.
I had the engine completely rebuilt by JMS motorcycles near Andover, he had done several guzzi T3 and Lemans engine rebuilds for me in the past.
Crank reground ans balanced, new bearing flanges, new conrods, Big end shells, Little end pin and bush, new Nikasil barrels and pistons, new valves and guides, 2 rocker spindles replaced etc.
Had already been given a new clutch, thrust bearing, pushrod etc, along with a new cam chain and tensioner when i purchased it.
I've Included some pictures of the rebuild and the old parts that were replaced.
Just about run in. 1200 miles since rebuild. Retorqued the heads twice after 6 or seven runs and then at 1000 miles.
In very good condition with some slight changes from standard: slightly larger section tyres, non standard rear shocks, no indicators.
Handles superbly and runs up to 6K rpm (>100mph) with no issues. Havent taken it to the redline. Has very progressive acceleration and feels quite fast. I think smaller section tyres will give it more bite especially at the top end.
All in all a very nice bike indeed, and quite rare. I have never seen another one on the road. Selling as I have another project in mind. I have several other old Guzzi's that i want to do up. Located near Andover Hants. Feel free to call with any questions that you might have.
