£7,250.00 Selling
I bought my beautiful Le Mans from the original purchaser in 1986 with about 4000 miles on the clock, and have owned it ever since. Current mileage 40,747.
Used regularly '86 to '99, featuring an Italy trip in ’90 which included a Marinello factory visit.
Dry stored until 2012 whist raising a family , then recommissioned for the road.
Another big service in 2014 at Bikecare Bristol. £ 413.34
Run till 2016 after which I had to garage it again till 2021 when it was again recommissioned, this time by the great Nigel Billingsley, which also included powder coating the wheels, fitting electronic ignition, new tyres and a new battery etc. Cost £1167.00
.In 2022 I also had all the chrome components stripped, polished, copper, nickel and finallychrome plated by Doug Taylors at a cost of £ 463.30
On the road ever since but with minimal mileage, then subject to a thorough service and electrical updating by Mike RdC, who did a superb job. Cost £1117.94
In between times I had the fairing professionally repaired where a crack had developed, and then resprayed along with the front mudguard to match the existing paint colour.
Similarly the rear mudguard and seat surround were repaired and repainted by Ace of Sprays. £ 600.00
All invoices and other receipts available.
Battery kept on a trickle charger at all times, Always dry garaged at home. Price includes a specific Le Mans 111 rack, unused since I had it re-powder coated black.
Always totally reliable, has never failed me on or off the road. Running beautifully as a result of all the work and expense lavished upon it but I could not bring it to the market in any other condition. Informally valued at £7500.00 but advertising here at slightly less in the hope it will go to a MGOC member.
