1977 Moto Guzzi T3 with 1000cc top end ( 850 cylinders and pistons included)
Recently rebuilt with deep splined clutch centre and new plates.
The tank was sealed and painted in the original colour for the year with correct decals.
The mechanic who rebuilt the engine said everything was good and completed a15 mile test. I drove it 20 miles home and it is running as it should.
10 mile run today with motorway running up to 6000 cleanly.
This all the running it's done. The only issue I discovered is the rear brake has seized....just been sitting too long in my garage...Currently working on two other bikes I plan to sell....one is a Benelli 650 tornado twin from 1972.
Reason for selling the Guzzi is 1) Planning to leave the UK next year 2) I have 9 bikes in a double garage, 3) Not using the bike.
There are spares and a steel unpainted tank for the T3 in the garage somewhere safe :)....
