£2,750.00 Selling
I have For Sale my1953 Guzzino, restoration completed in 2025.
It has a new V5 and an age related UK registration number. It also has a Moto Guzzi UK Club authenticated dating certificate. This model was manufactured during period 1946 to 1954, during which time about 75,000 were built.
This particular model was built under licence in Spain and therefore bears frame number MGH 13219 (Moto Guzzi Hispania) and matching original engine number ISA 546439.
Being over 70 years old the bike is registered as Historic" and does not require an MOT. It is also free to tax. Since it uses a very oil rich (5%) two-stroke mix I doubt it would ever achieve current European emission levels! But it smells great!!
The bike has a 65cc single cyliner two-stroke engine with a hand change three speed gearbox.
It has been fully stripped down and rebuilt.
Cylinder rebored for new piston and rings.
Crankshaft reground and new bearings and bushes fitted throughout.
Pretty well every nut and bolt is stainless steel.
Frame and tin-ware were sand blasted and then powder coated in Poppy Red with Gold and Black pin-striping as per original. It looks great.
Wheels completely rebuilt on original hubs using new chrome rims and stainless steel spokes. New tyres and tubes of course.
Magneto rebuilt and new capacitor fitted.
Bike is currently fitted with a new Chinese carb as it starts and runs better than with the original Dell'Orto carb. The Dell'Orto carb and cables will be supplied with the bike.
Lots of receipts and photos available.
