V11 SPORT SCURA 2003

I acquired the SCURA in 2005 and rode it most summers alongside my DUCATI 900SS bevel, hence the low mileage now of 17,292.

It is a limited edition model no. S488 out of 600, SCURA meaning DARK, with its striking appearance, featuring carbon fibre front mudguard, side panels, silencers plus other trim.

The brakes are BREMBO Gold Series with OHLINS fully adjustable suspension. The exhaust is stainless, with no catalytic converter (less to go wrong).

Some years ago I changed the clip-on bars for "straight" bars from the CAFE SPORT to give a more relaxed riding position. The old bars are included.

The SCURA has been totally reliable, except for the replacement of the pawl spring to the gearbox selector.

By 2003 APRILIA had acquired the MANDELLO factory, bringing much- improved build quality and reliability to MOTO GUZZIs.

I have several previous MOT certificates, two ignition keys, plus an Owners Manual with Scura supplement.

I'm 76 now, so am looking for a new home for the GUZZI to go to !
